JUVÉDERM TREATMENT

JUVÉDERM injections generally take about 15 – 30 minutes, depending on how many areas are being treated. We’ll clean your skin and mark the injection spots. All JUVÉDERM formulas contain lidocaine, a local anesthetic that helps to minimize discomfort. Following your procedure, you’ll be free to return to your normal routine; however, you should avoid strenuous activity, like exercise, for at least a day. You should be cautious not to touch your face after your injections so as to avoid pushing the filler into unintended areas.

WHAT IS RHA?

RHA or Resilient Hyaluronic Acid Fillers are the first and only FDA-approved dermal HA fillers to treat dynamic facial wrinkles and folds. They are proven to be helpful to soften, and correct facial contours to result in a more young and rested appearance. RHA® Resilient Hyaluronic Acid® can be effectively used to treat conditions like lines and wrinkles caused by repetitive facial expressions and volume loss, including forehead and glabellar lines, nasolabial folds, and crow’s feet.

WHAT IS RHA RESILIENT HYALURONIC ACID?

HOW DOES RHA WORK?

There are three formulations of the RHA® collection. They can be used independently or in combination with each other to target specific layers of the skin to reduce moderate to severe wrinkles and folds.

PROCEDURE

The treatment usually takes around 15-25 minutes, depending on the size and location of the treatment area. A topical anesthetic will be applied 30 minutes before your treatment. The RHA® filler is injected into the desired areas using tiny needles or a blunt-tipped cannula. Because of the effect of anesthesia and since these injections also contain an anesthetic medicine named lidocaine, you may feel numbness around the parts of your face in and around the treatment area for a few hours.
